Mentor man wanted for menacing after threatening to shoot in front of son

MENTOR, Ohio - A Mentor man accused of threatening to shoot someone in front of his son is wanted by police.

In August, 21-year-old Michael Spalsbury was acting like he was going to urinate on the side of the Cold Stone Creamery, police said.

Another customer honked his horn at him, and that's when Spalsbury took off his shirt and reached behind him. He walked up to the man's car and threatened to shoot the him in front of his 12-year-old son, according to police.

No gun was found and Spalsbury was arrested for aggravated menacing.

Mentor police are now looking for him for failing to appear for sentencing. Anyone with information should call 440-255-1234.
