On Wednesday, police reported, the same 38-year-old man who was arrested and charged for driving under the influence and driving under suspension was arrested again in less than 24 hours.

Authorities said in both instances, other drivers reported a vehicle operating recklessly in the area of State Route 91 and Lakeshore Boulevard.

On Tuesday after 11:30 p.m., the vehicle was found in a parking lot near SR 91 with the driver still inside. The vehicle was running and still in drive. Police said the driver, identified as Marko Medukic, was arrested for OVI for his obvious intoxication.

On Wednesday just before 9 p.m., officers located and stopped the same vehicle on a side street where Medukic was again arrested.

Police reported on both occasions, Medukic was operating the same vehicle. The owner of the borrowed vehicle was given a citation for wrongful entrustment since he provided the vehicle to Medukic after getting it back hours earlier from the impound lot from the first OVI incident.

According to Eastlake police, Medukic was being held on a $20,000 10 percent bond.

According to Willoughby Municipal Court, Medukic entered a not guilty plea in court on Thursday.

More court documents showed Medukic has been charged for driving under suspension, theft, receiving stolen property, and other charges related to alcohol consumption since 1996.

In the picture above, Medukic can be seen wearing the same shirt during both recent OVI incident arrests.
