PERRY TWP, Ohio - Following a joint drug investigation in Perry Township, police busted a meth lab in the 4400 block of Baldwin Rd. It was the second search warrant served in four months at the property.
Police found evidence used in making the drug, including coffee filters, pseudoephedrine tablets, lithium batteries, drain cleaner and salt.
The home had to be properly cleaned up by technicians who were called to dispose of the chemicals.
Todd Daugherty, 28, was arrested and charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine. And it wasn't his first time. Daugherty was slapped with the same charge in September by police in Madison Township at the same house.
Daugherty was arraigned in Painesville Municipal Court on Tuesday where bond was set at $50,000.
In a news release, authorities said meth production and abuse appears to be on the increase in Lake County. Saturday's bust was the fourth in as many months.
