Sandusky couple caught with more than 30 heroin balloons

GREENWICH, Ohio - A man and woman were arrested for drug possession Friday after a traffic stop in Greenwich in Huron County.

Wallace James, 41, and Tonia Kiesel, 37, both of Sandusky, were charged with possession of heroin and booked into the county jail.

Huron County sheriff's deputies said they found 33 balloons of heroin during a search of the couple's car. Deputies also found drug paraphernalia and almost $400 in cash.

The two admitted to deputies that they had gone to Columbus to purchase heroin, said Huron County Detective Josh Querin.

Querin said that 14 of the heroin balloons were found near James' rectum.

Deputies said more charges will likely be filed against the couple.
