HAMBDEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A routine traffic stop led to a meth lab bust and man's arrest in Geauga County Wednesday.
A sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle on Oct. 29 for a headlight out and noticed the driver, Peter M. Mancuso, 36, was acting suspicious and searched the car. They found tools, methamphetamine and paraphernalia and arrested Mancuso.
Police searching Mancuso's home on Holi Dale Drive in Hambden Township Oct. 30 found a meth lab, they report.
The other residents of the home did not go into the room because it was locked, according to police.
Mancuso was charged with manufacturing meth and possession of meth.
Due to a previous drunken driving conviction, Mancuso is not eligible for bail.
Mancuso was arraigned at Charon Municipal Court Wednesday. Additional charges will be presented to a grand jury.
