A 34-year-old man is in custody after Sandusky police seized a kilo of cocaine worth nearly $100,000 from his home on Feb. 19.

Police said 34-year-old Prince Hampton was taken into custody after they executed a search warrant at his home on the 1500 block of Shelby Street around 8:30 p.m.

About $13,000 in cash was recovered in addition to 128 grams of crack cocaine, police said.

Hampton, who was already out on bond from another drug charge, was charged with possession and trafficking of cocaine.

He was taken to Erie County Jail and is being held without bond pending a future court appearance.
