SANDUSKY, Ohio - At approximately 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jacob Limberios' body was exhumed for a second time, according to Dean Henry, Sandusky County special prosecutor.
Limberios' body is now undergoing an autopsy at the Lucas County coroner's office.
Henry said Limberios, 19, died from a gunshot wound to the head back in September 2012 at a home outside of Clyde in Sandusky County.
A coroner from Pittsburgh, Dr. Cyril Wecht, did the original autopsy ruling Limberios' death as a homicide, Henry said. But the Sandusky County Sheriff's Department and Sandusky County coroner did not find any evidence to support that claim. Therefore, Sandusky County coroner John Wukie ruled Limberios' death as a suicide.
Wednesday's second autopsy will help authorities see what new information could be learned in this case, Henry said.
Limberios is buried at Castalia Cemetery in Erie County.
