The victim who was killed in a wrong way crash early Tuesday morning and the victim involved in a hit skip last month share a common bond. Both women worked at Westpark Healthcare Campus.

Lekesha Brown was killed on Interstate 71 by a man driving northbound in the southbound lanes. The 33-year-old mom was a nurse's assistant at the nursing home."It really hits home when they are young like Lekesha," said Michael Bracken with Westpark Healthcare Campus.

Brown was well loved at the nursing home, Bracken said. She was studying to become a nurse. " She would not call off in any circumstance because she felt like she was letting down the residents," Bracken said.

Last month, a housekeeper at the nursing home, Jean Stuckey was hit while crossing at the corner of West 150th and Puritas. The driver in a white Ford van took off. Police are still searching for that driver. Stuckey is recovering in the hospital. "Jean, thank goodness is doing great in her recovery," Bracken said. "Hoping to have her back soon."

The staff who are in the business of helping others are now dealing with their own heartbreak. The two women were both highly thought of among staff and residents.

The owner of Westpark Healthcare will pay for Stuckey's rehabilitation. The staff has set up a Gofundme accountfor Brown's only child.

Cleveland police are asking that if you have any information about the driver who hit Stuckey that you call them at 216-623-5290.
