Former Cleveland Indians' Kenny Lofton and Carlos Baerga will throw out the two first pitches during Games 1 and 2 in the World Series.
"A pair of Cleveland Indians Hall of Famers will throw the ceremonial pitches of the first two games of the 2016 World Series," the team said in a news release. "Teammates on the 1995 American League Champion Indians Lofton and Carlos will handle the prominent pre-game duties for Games One and Two, respectively."
Lofton, 49, was a six-time All-Star, four-time Gold Glove Award winner. He is ranked fifteenth among all-time stolen base leaders with 622. Lofton played with the Indians eight years out of his 17 year career. He retired 2007.
Baerga, 47, played with the Indians for seven seasons as a third baseman and a shortstop. He was a three-time MLB All-Star and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner. Baerga retired in 2005.
