Two people are dead after a shooting Tuesday morning at a Burger King restaurant on Cleveland's west side.

The shooting happened at the fast food chain's West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue location at about 8 a.m.

According to Cleveland police, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man believed to be the suspect was found dead in the women's bathroom with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Erlyn Michelle Rivera-Cintron, 38, and the man as Jorge Aviles, 45.

Police said the woman was an employee at the restaurant. Rivera-Cintron's brother works next door to the restaurant. "We seen police taping things off, so I wanted to make sure my sister was ok. I started asking employees what was going on," said Antonio Nieves, Rivera-Cintron's brother.

"I started panicking and calling my family," Nieves added.

According to Rivera's family, Aviles was an estranged boyfriend. Police say the two were living together until about three months ago. "She decided to break up with him and I guess that tipped him over," said Nieves.

Rivera-Cintron was the mother of three children. A go fund me account has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.

Burger King released an official statement regarding the incident:

The BURGER KING® brand is aware of the incident that occurred this morning.  We are terribly saddened by the death of this restaurant team member and our thoughts are with the family.  We understand that the incident is currently under investigation and our franchisee is cooperating fully with the authorities.

This Burger King is the same location where Amanda Berry worked. She was kidnapped on her way home from work and held captive by Ariel Castro for several years before escaping.
