The Best Hospital rankings by U.S. News and World Report were released overnight Tuesday. Two Cleveland hospitals made the honor roll. The honor roll is the best 18 hospitals of the nearly 5,000 hospitals around the country.
CLEVELAND - Overnight Tuesday, U.S. News and World Report released its seventh annual "Best Children's Hospital Rankings."
Two Cleveland children's hospitals are ranked in the top 10 for their specialties.
Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital is ranked No. 2 in Pediatrics for Neonatology and ranked No. 7 in Pediatrics for Pulmonology.
The Cleveland Clinic is ranked No. 8 in Pediatrics for Neurology and is also ranked No. 10 in Pediatrics for Gastroenterology & GI Surgery.
Akron Children's Hospital also made the list with the following rankings:
- 22 in orthopedics
- 26 in cancer
- 28 in neurology & neurosurgery
- 29 in pulmonology
- 31 in urology
- 32 in diabetes and endocrinology
- 37 in nephrology
