CLEVELAND - Twelve members of the Cleveland Fire Department received letters of disciplinary charges Friday, according to a Cleveland Fire spokesperson.
The spokesperson said the twelve members include four captains, two lieutenants and six firefighters.
The charges stem from a cadet graduation party held on August 16th at two bars in Kamm's Corner.
The group is accused of urinating on a photo of Cleveland's former fire chief, Daryl McGinnis, according to City of Cleveland officials.
The incident was reviewed by the city's Internal Affairs investigator.
The Cleveland Fire Dept. spokesperson said the accused members will now go through the due process of law, as a hearing will be held in the upcoming days to determine the outcome of each person involved.
Names were not released.
