BRECKSVILLE, Ohio - Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel was the big attraction at a fundraiser today in Brecksville for injured student athletes.
Tressel was part of "Rush for a Cause" at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.
About 250 youth sports teams and more than 3,000 student athletes were there.
Teams scrimmaged against each other, held cheer competitions, and enjoyed food, music and games in an effort to raise awareness of student athletes who suffer severe injuries playing the games they love.
"Rush for a Cause" says serious injuries among young athletes are more common than people believe and its goal is to support those athletes and their families,
