CLEVELAND - Tis the season for cold weather in Northeastern Ohio, and your loving pets must not be forgotten.
NewsChannel5, as well as the National Weather Service, offers a couple of tips to help keep your pets safe and warm during this 2014 winter season.
When caring for pets during the frigid temperatures, remember to provide warm dry blankets for them to lie on and to provide your pets plenty of food and water. If possible, bring all pets indoors, because they are at risk of hypothermia.
If you are using a garage as shelter, please make sure all toxins, such as antifreeze and bleach, are out of their reach.
