Weekend flash flood watch issued, thousands still without power after Thursday's storms

UPDATE 9:30 a.m. Saturday: Nearly 3,000 without power in Cuyahoga County, mostly in Lakewood.

UPDATE 9 p.m.: More than 7,100 are still without power across Northeast Ohio.

UPDATE 8 p.m.: More than 6,400 are still without power across Northeast Ohio.

UPDATE 5 p.m.: A little more than 8,000 are still without power in Cuyahoga County.

UPDATE 3:15 p.m.: A Flash Flood Watch has been issued from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening for Ashland, Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Knox, Mahoning, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Wayne and Wyandot counties. More than 10,000 customers across Northeast Ohio are still without power.

On Thursday night, more than 58,000 people were affected by power outages, and many were still without power Friday morning. 

In addition to storm damage, a little over 10,000 people were still without power in Cuyahoga county. 

Crews are out on roadways to clean up fallen branches and debris in the way.
