Suspects arrested in connection to Sims Park Beach shooting

Euclid police have arrested two suspects in connection to the fatal shooting at Sims Park Beach on July 17th during a resident organized 'Stop the Violence' rally.

The first suspect is 19 year old, Anthony Jones Jr. He was arraigned on Wednesday at the Euclid Municipal Court on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. 

The second, is a 17 year old, unidentified juvenile. He was taken to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center on Thursday for felony charges of aggravated murder and unrelated charges. 

The shooting resulted in the death of 19 year old, Phillip Banks who was a resident of Euclid and a severe injury to a 12 year old, Euclid resident.
