An armed man entered a Key Bank in Maple Heights around 4 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money from the teller.
"Put your hands up," the assailant shouted. "Put the money on the counter!"
According to police reports, the suspect is a black male, about 5'6"-5'8", 150 pounds and in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a tan or light grey hoodie with a black and white scarf covering his face, black sunglasses and blue jeans at the time of the robbery. He was brandishing a semiautomatic handgun.
Authorities are seeking help in identifying the suspect. They say tips can be anonymous and provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400 or to Maple Heights Police Department at 216-587-9623. Authorities are offering reward money for any information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the suspect.
