Superstorm Sandy can't keep trick-or-treaters from enjoying a spooktacular night

PARMA, Ohio - Superstorm Sandy might have postponed Halloween but that didn't stop the little ones from coming out in full force in over 70 northeast Ohio communities Sunday.

On a crisp, clear night, witches, goblins and ghouls took to the streets of Parma to scare and be scared as an array of houses were decked out in Halloween gore.

Brad Lusk spent a couple of hundred dollars to deck his house out. He even grew his own pumpkins that he carved up. He loves to put on a display but agreed it was a good idea Halloween trick-or-treating was postponed for many communities.

"To have them out here on Wednesday when it was windy and cold and rainy would have gotten the kids sick," said Lusk.

"It is beautiful that everyone could come together even though it is not Halloween. I loved it how they postponed it for the children," said Desiree Jones.

She took her sister and daughter out, all three dressed in witches attire.

"The weather held out - its a good night," said Jones.
