“I just got robbed, they robbed me with two guns,” a caller told Lakewood dispatchers.

“They had masks, they got my car keys,” he said.

That robbery happened at the intersection of Madison and Magee avenues in Lakewood on Sept. 14 around 2:30 a.m.

About 15 minutes later and less than half-a-mile away, Cleveland State University student and Uber driver Ahmad Suleiman was also robbed by two men at gunpoint at West 117th Street and Detroit Road.

A third woman was robbed at gunpoint in the same area. The robbers took her purse, wallet and money.

Ahmad said the robbery has impacted his job as an Uber driver, since he no longer has a cell phone.

While those robberies appear to be connected, there was another armed robbery outside a Taco Bell in the same area two days earlier. An arrest was made in that case.

In one of the unsolved robberies, the robbers were seen driving a dark blue Honda.

Anyone who might have seen something is asked to call Lakewood police at 216-521-6773.
