South Euclid Police Officer Lt. Wilson rescues baby raccoon from Green Road

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - It’s just another day in the office and another rescue for a South Euclid police officer.

Lt. Wilson rescued a baby raccoon Sunday that had wandered onto Green Road. South Euclid police posted the photo on its Facebook page .

Wilson has a knack for rescuing animals in need. In 2012, he helped a Great Horned Owl that was caught in a soccer net. And in 2010, he freed a deer whose antlers got stuck in a volleyball net.
