Shooting victim flagged down Cleveland police officer for help

CLEVELAND - A 42-year-old man drove himself to a Cleveland police station for help overnight after being shot.

The shooting victim flagged down an officer in the parking lot of the Cleveland Police Department Fifth District Headquarters, located in the 800 block of E. 152nd Street, around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

The victim told police he had been shot in a parking lot on E. 156th Street by one of two males who exited a dark blue mini-van.

The victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.

The suspects are still at large.
