A 26-year-old Cleveland man was shot in the head in Garfield Heights overnight.
The shooting was reported just after midnight near North Drive and East 139th Street.
When officers arrived they were told that the victim had already been taken to the hospital in a private car. He was driven to Marymount Hospital and then flown by Metro Life Flight to MetroHealth Medical Center.
newsnet5.com's overnight newstracker Mike Vielhaber saw a truck at the shooting scene with at least seven bullet holes, a flat tire and a leaking gas tank. Police were examining a front porch about a block away.
No arrests have been made.
Garfield Heights police are investigating.
