BROOKLYN, Ohio - Everyone living inside a home on Delora Avenue in Brooklyn were able to escape uninjured when their home caught fire around 4 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police at the scene smoke could be seen above the treeline from Biddulph and Ridge roads.
Firefighters from Brooklyn and Parma were able to bring the flames under control by 4:30 a.m.
A burned mattress was tossed into the driveway by firefighters from a second floor window.
No word on the cause of the fire.
