CLEVELAND - Couture creations and ready-to-wear fashion will soon be on the catwalk in Cleveland.
NewsChannel5 got a sneak peek of what's in store for the 10th annual Fashion Week in Cleveland on Tuesday at Tower City Center.
"It's about design. It's about education. It's about retail development in Cleveland," said Donald Shingler, Founder and CEO for Fashion Week Cleveland .
This year's theme is "Fashion Forward." Organizers hope to inspire retailers to bring their business ventures to the shores of Lake Erie and make Cleveland a fashion hot spot.
"When we had our designer call, we had people coming in all the way from Canada who wanted to make sure that they were a part of it. This year, we not only have our local designers. It's become a lot more expanded," said Ernest Brown, Executive Artistic Director for FWC.
The excitement begins during the first week of May.
