Authorities are investigating a child luring incident that reportedly occurred Tuesday in Olmsted Township, police said.

According to police, officers responded to the area of Skyline Drive after a juvenile male told his grandmother a man who was in a car asked if he needed a ride while the victim was walking earlier.

Afterward, the boy said he immediately turned around and ran home. The boy also said the suspect vehicle turned around and “sped” away, according to police.

The suspect was described as an older, black male with a white beard. Police said there was also a passenger – described as a white male – in the car at the time of the incident.

The victim told police he believed the passenger appeared to be younger then the driver and around 60 years old.

The suspect vehicle was described as a light colored Sedan, with possibly another color. The victim did not know the make or model of the car.

Authorities have not released the age of the victim.

Authorities are asking anyone who sees the suspect vehicle or has any information on the incident to contact them at 440-235-3335.
