CLEVELAND - The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office has identified 24-year-old Peter Ogletree Jr. as the male victim in Sunday's suspected murder-suicide on Cleveland's west side.
The body of the female victim has not yet been identified pending notification of next of kin.
Neighbors described the two victims to be a couple.
The discovery was made at about 12:25 p.m. in the 3400 block of W. 125th Street near Lorain Avenue. The incident is being treated as a "possible murder-suicide," according to Cleveland police.
Krystyna Kaiser, a neighbor, told NewsChannel5, "It was really shocking, like I never knew anything was wrong down there,"
Kaiser said they met the victims when they first moved to the block and kept in touch through their kids.
"My kid, she was always down there playing with the little girl. They were respectful. The kids were even more well-mannered," she said.
Kaiser described the two victims to have more than one child but police could not confirm this Sunday.
Two vehicles from the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived at the scene shortly after the bodies were discovered.
The bodies were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of death.
Jesse Geiger is another neighbor who watched as police search the home.
"I heard the mother crying and stuff. I think this was this girl's mother, she was crying about her daughter and it was, it was pretty sad so I don't know, I hope everything can be alright," she told NewsChannel5.
