Hit in the head dragged into a van, and tied up with rope - that's what a 12-year-old East Cleveland girl says happened to her on her walk to school Wednesday.

Darjalae Moore is back with her family now. They told News 5 she is shaken up, but she is physically ok.

Phyllis Davis, Moore's grandmother, said the story about what happened to her, on her walk to school, made her stomach flip all over again.

"Right before she got to the parking lot entrance of the school, this white van pulled up on the side of her, this man punched her in the face, and when she woke up she was at his house tied up," Davis said.

"He left, and she was able to wiggle herself from the ropes," she added.

That's when granddaughter ran to the RTA station on 55th, off I-490, where she found two police officers.

East Cleveland's detective bureau told News 5 they are following up on the case and the description Moore gave of the man who took her.
