An 18-year-old is facing charges in connection with a police chase that led officers through multiple cities last week.
Joseph Kolczynski, of Parma, was charged with one count of failure to comply with order or signal of police officer in connection with the Dec. 17 chase.
Police said they responded to the 7500 block of Sarasota Drive for a report of a suspicious silver Honda Accord. When officers walked up to speak to the driver—later identified as Kolczynski—he sped off, police said.
Officers chased Kolczynski through Parma and into Strongsville, where he finally stopped at the intersection of Pearl and Boston roads. He was arrested without incident.
Along with the failure to comply charge, Kolczynski was also cited for drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol.
