A 19-year-old woman was killed in a shooting in North Royalton Tuesday evening and 25-year-old man is in custody in connection with her death.
According to North Royalton police, the 25-year-old man shot Christal Shaver, 19, in his home in the 9500 block of Cove Drive around 5:15 p.m.
The man called 911 to report the shooting. EMS transported Shaver to Southwest General Hospital where she later died.
The 25-year-old man was taken into custody. Charges are pending.
