A 19-year-old Cleveland woman ran off after driving into a Fairview Park home Monday night, police say.
Around 10:50 p.m. a Chevrolet Equinox struck a house on West 228th Street. Police said the driver panicked and took off on foot after the crash.
Officers were able to track down the woman through evidence left at the scene.
According to police, "the preliminary investigation of the accident indicates driver inexperience rather than recklessness lead to the accident."
She will be cited and charged through Rocky River Municipal Court.
