Pepper Pike police release sketch of burglar

Pepper Pike police are currently looking for a burglar who snuck into a home and seriously assaulted a woman early Thursday morning. 

According to police, the burglar entered the home through an unlocked door around 3:15 a.m. The victim woke up and saw the burglar in her bedroom.

The burglar took two Apple iPhones and an iPad from the house.

She told police the intruder was a black male, with a medium but soft-spoken voice, medium brown skin, and in his late teens to early twenties. According to the victim, he stood at 5'5" to 5'7" in height, with an average build. He was wearing a black hoodie pulled tight around his face, dark colored jeans, and Timberland boots. 

Police are still investigating the incident and advise residents to lock their homes and vehicles at night and to always keep a phone near to dial 911 in an emergency.
