Parma 'Tails for Trails' Dog Walk-a-thon on August 24 to benefit West Creek Conservancy

Donations to help build trails and protect land

PARMA, Ohio - West Creek Conservancy's second annual "Tails for Trails" Dog Walk-a-thon will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at West Creek Reservation in Parma.

Money raised from the event will aid in the conservancy's effort to protect land, build trails and restore waterways throughout Greater Cleveland.

Registration is $20 per dog or $30 for two or more dogs. Humans are free. Participants are encouraged to obtain pledges and/or donations.

Sign-in starts at 10 a.m. with the optional one or three mile walk beginning at 11 a.m.

The walk-a-thon will be held at Keystone Shelter in West Creek Reservation, located on West Ridgewood Drive, between Broadview and State roads.

Following the walk, participants will enjoy refreshments, vendors, Parma K-9 unit demonstrations and raffles.
