PARMA, Ohio - Parma Community General Hospital has added an additional technique to help keep northeast Ohioans healthy and visitors will not have to take one step inside the hospital to receive it.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 3 to 7 p.m., the hospital will host its first-ever farmer's market in the back area of the main parking lot at 7007 Powers Blvd.
Visitors will be able to purchase locally grown produce, honey, cheese and more. Health screenings will also be available.
The hospital's goal for the event is for people to eat healthy while also helping the environment and local economy.
