CLEVELAND - Open for 165 years before being shut down by the Cleveland Diocese, St. Patrick Catholic Church in West Park had reason to celebrate Sunday.
The church was temporarily forced to close it's doors when the Cleveland Diocese downsized.
Sunday, St. Patrick celebrated its one year re-opening with a special outdoor mass.
The church is so close to Cleveland Hopkins Airport, that many flight passengers stop by to celebrate mass while waiting for their flight out of Cleveland.
A picnic was held on the parish grounds immediately following the special mass.
