Police got the report at about 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon: a naked man was spotted running along Washington Park Boulevard.
This could be funny anecdote, but police took the report very seriously because the streaker was doing his thing across the street from Washington Park Community School (kindergarten through ninth grade).
Arriving on the scene, police tackled the suspect. He was then taken to the hospital because of his condition, which police described as "drug-related."
The suspect, age 25, will be charged with disorderly conduct in a school zone and public intoxication.
