The body found near E. 83rd Street and Holton Ave. has been identified as missing Warrensville Heights woman Jessica Coleman.
Coleman's body was found by railroad workers near the intersection, authorities reported.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide after police discovered a gunshot wound on the 26-year-old's body.
According to Warrensville Heights police, Coleman's boyfriend reported her missing around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, just a few hours after a family event.
Police said the boyfriend reported Coleman's home had been ransacked, her car was still in the driveway, but there were no signs of forced entry at the house.
