News 5 has learned of new information about missing Lakewood woman, Roaa Al-Dhannoon. The 24-year-old mother has been missing since October.
Now, News 5 has learned that the woman's ex-husband, Fahad Mohammed Saeed, was convicted of violating a protection order and is currently in jail.
"He violated a protection order by having contact with his son. He got a six-month jail sentence," said Lakewood Police Chief Tim Malley.
The protection order was issued around the time the couple was divorced last fall. Police said Al-Dhannoon was last seen at her Edgewater Drive apartment in Lakewood in October. Police believe Saeed had contact with his 3-year-old son around the same time Al-Dhannoon disappeared.
Saeed has not been charged in connection with Al-Dhannoon's disappearance.
