The person who was found shot at a East Cleveland gas station late Wednesday was the nephew of Glenville High School football coach Ted Ginn Sr.
Ginn Sr. confirmed the news to newsnet5.com.
Diamond Russell, 19, was found unresponsive around 11:43 p.m. in the area of Euclid and Superior avenues. He was transported to University Hospital where he later died.
Ginn Sr. said the family was notified around 3 a.m.
Russell was scheduled to graduate this year from Ginn Academy.
