Man arrested for fatal shooting of Sunoco owner

Police have arrested a man in connection to the fatal shooting of 50-year-old Robert Sposit, the owner of a Sunoco gas station.

Logan D. Sinclair, 21, was arrested by Parma police for the armed robbery and fatal shooting at the Sunoco, located at 5385 Pearl Road. He was charged with aggravated murder through the City of Parma Prosecutor's Office.

Police said Sinclair is currently at MetroHealth Medical Center being treated for gunshot wounds he sustained from the robbery. He is scheduled to appear in Parma Municipal Court when he is released from the hospital. It is unknown when he will be released. 

50-year-old Robert Sposit, of Parma, was found dead on Nov. 28 inside of the Sunoco gas station he owned after police received a call at around 7:30 p.m. about shots fired inside the business. Preliminary stages of the investigation revealed that during the robbery, Sposit and Sinclair exchanged gunfire, police said.
