Local ice skating production will feature skaters, acrobats and reptile show

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio - The skaters at the Strongsville Skating Club will be joined by some special 'off ice' performers for this year's spring ice show.

Simply because reptiles don't skate.

The local club's show theme this year is "Madame La Rue's Carnivale of Curiosities: Extravaganza on Ice" and they are pulling out all the stops.

This year's show will feature exotic animals of the E and J reptile show (including a python, if you're daring enough to have your picture taken with it) as well as skaters from the Strongsville Skating Club and other Cleveland area clubs. In addition to the animals and skaters, the show will feature jugglers, acrobats, games and even rings of fire.

This family friendly event will be held on Friday May 3 and Saturday May 4 at 7:30 p.m.  Pre show fun will begin when doors open at 6:30pm.

A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Special Olympics.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at http://www.strongsvilleskatingclub.com/ .
