BAY VILLAGE, Ohio - It might be early November, but it's not too early to put up the Christmas decorations. That's according to the Strazzella family.
"This is an evolving project. Every year, I do something a little different. I put something a little more in there, depending on comments I get from neighbors," said home owner Alex Strazzella.
At night, the home on Lake Road in Bay Village lights up the neighborhood. There are angels, trees, stars, presents, snowmen and signs that say "Merry Christmas."
"I can tell you that a couple of years ago, we actually had to upgrade the electric service to the house and go to 200 amps because it wasn't enough."
So why so early?
"There's not much you can do with Thanksgiving. I mean, who is going to go out and put lights on a turkey out in their front yard?"
Strazzella said his neighbors like his festive house and don't think it's too soon for the decorations.
"It's better to put these up when it's early November or late October than it is to put them up in December, I will tell you that."
