Police seek suspect responsible for a string of armed robberies in Lakewood

The Lakewood Police Department is looking for a man involved in a string of robberies that happened at a Walgreens and other businesses in Lakewood over a period of two months.

The male robbed the Walgreens on 11701 Detroit Avenue four times since January. All the robberies at Walgreens happened on a Monday.

  • 3/13/17 at 12:07 p.m.

According to surveillance, he goes to the register to purchase a minor item. While the cashier is ringing up the sale, he displays a gun or a knife at the cashier and removes the cash from the register.

He is also responsible for robberies at the Pizza Hut on 1407 W. 117th street and the GFS store at 1363 W. 117th street.
