Infographic: Crime stats from Cleveland Police Department show homicide rates above average

CLEVELAND - Crime statistics released by the Cleveland Police Department on June 26 show that homicides in the city of Cleveland is now above the average number of homicides for the mid-year.

According to the 2013 mid-year statistics, the average number of homicides is 46. So far in 2014, the city of Cleveland has recorded a total of 52 homicides.

However, the number of rapes reported so far in 2014 is lower than the average, 281.
