A man wearing a mask robbed a Cleveland Heights bank Monday afternoon.
RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio - Richmond Heights police are investigating a bank robbery at Wilson Mills Road that took place around noon Thursday.
Police said two suspects walked into the Huntington Bank in Richmond Heights Thursday afternoon and one fired a shot into the ceiling. The suspect pointed his gun at the bank clerk and instructed her to put money in a drawstring bag.
Richmond Heights police said the two suspects got away with less than $1,000.
After robbing the bank, the two suspects left the scene on foot and were last seen heading east on Wilson Mills Road.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery, but the bank has been closed for the remainder of the day.
