CLEVELAND - TSA agents seized a gun from a carry-on bag at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
The unloaded 25 caliber firearm was detected on Aug. 22 by TSA in the carry-on bag of a 49-year-old male passenger flying from Cleveland to Charlotte, according to Transportation Security Administration officials.
The suspect was taken into custody. His name and list of charges were not released.
TSA wants to remind flyers that firearms are prohibited in carry-on bags, but can be transported in checked bags if they are unloaded, properly packed and declared to the airline.
