Got the "No Browns Sunday" blues?

CLEVELAND - Hands gripped the stadium's iron gates as a Browns fan stared into the empty abyss of Browns Stadium Saturday. And that's how it will remain on Sunday.

The Browns have a day off tomorrow which left fans today wondering just what to do now with no Browns game to watch?

"I don't know… I can't, I can't even... I don't know what I'm gonna do," said Robert Chaencellor.

"We don't know. Maybe clean our house or something," said Die-hard Browns fans and sisters, Mary Weishner and Edie Linders.

"I'm probably going to have to do yard work," said Linda Ross as she laughed.

There's one more! Joking sobs came from another fan who said, "Usually I take Sunday fun-day very seriously. I make it to every tailgate. I don't know what I'm going to do!"

Fans are taking the Sunday break with a grain of salt, but it seems many may be secretly welcoming the day off.

"The Browns need to win. It's a good thing not playing on Sunday! They lose," said Kevin Hoffman. But Kevin added he's as big of a Browns fan as fans get.

"I think it's simple for a Browns fan. All we want is a win or two or three," said Jeremy Soditch, "we're not looking to win the Super Bowl - not right now. We know it's going to take a while… and we're building a team, but ya know, just give us a win."

Even NewsChannel5's Andy Baskin offered a long grunt over the Sunday break, but that doesn't mean he gets a break.

"It's a really busy day tomorrow in the N.F.L.," said Baskin, " ... you know we're hoping that the New Orleans Saints lose so that Browns won't be the only 0 and 4 team, but there will be a lot of great games in the N.F.L. I can tell you this, it's going to be one of the best "Ford Sports Sunday's" you've ever seen!"

Baskin added, "Coach Sam is off the wall this week!"

Of course you'll have to tune in Sunday to see.

But back to the Browns, some fans said they'll still have a Sunday Browns party, without the team playing on T.V. Others said they'll just patiently wait until the next game. But that also means there's even more anticipation for the Browns to win that next game.

If they lose, Soditch said, "What are we gonna do? We're Browns fans, we're always going to love them!"

The Browns play again on Sunday, October 7, 2012 against the New York Giants.
