SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio - Nearly six years later, a man has been arrested in connection with a Shaker Heights homicide.
Shaker Heights police arrested Steven Rackley, 41, of Garfield Heights, for the stabbing death of Mitchell Perry, 26, of Cleveland.
The alleged homicide happened on the 17100 block of Scottsdale Boulevard on November 8, 2006.
Rackley was charged Wednesday with aggravated murder, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence.
This 2006 homicide was the last one in Shaker Heights until this May, when a 60-year-old woman, Sharon Anderson-Norfus, was found strangled in an apartment complex on Warrensville Center Road.
William Hammons, 20, was indicted on charges of murder, rape, aggravated robbery and others. Hammons pleaded not guilty to the charges he's facing, and a Cuyahoga County judge ordered him to be remanded without bond.
