Fundraisers created to help employees of Brennan's and the Cedar Lee Merchant Assoc.

The east side community is pulling together in the wake of a murder at Brennan's Colony restaurant on Lee Road Monday.

“We just knew we couldn't sit back and do nothing, so I just started sketching a design,” said Brady Dindia, a University Heights resident who visits Brennan's once a week with her girlfriends.

Dindia and a friend have started selling t-shirts to raise money for the Cedar Lee Road Merchants Association in honor of Jim Brennan, the restaurant's owner who was gunned down.
