For the past fourteen years Terry Stewart has led the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as its President and CEO. He stepped down this past December.
The Rock Hall was hopping with people from all over to celebrate Stewart's achievements over the years.
Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, Former Senator George Voinovich, and former Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher were on hand for the festivities.
Stewart says "From the day I got here I knew it was the best job in the world."
The big news of the night is that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum dedicated The Roots of Rock and Roll Exhibit Hall in Honor of Terry Stewart and his wife Sally.
"I am amazed and flattered, but its not the reason I got into this but its gratifying to feel like a part of this and to play a small role in preserving the music," Stewart said.
Stewart plans on remaining in Cleveland and getting involved with a new adventure.
