SOLON, Ohio - A large fire Sunday night at Kruse Commons in Solon has been ruled accidental.
Firefighters responded to the 6100 block of Kruse Drive around 6:30 p.m. for a report of a business on fire.
The Solon fire chief said a three unit complex, which includes Liberty Bank, The Vitamix Factory Store and Portrait Innovations, caught fire.
"We determined the area of origin to be the attic space above the Vitamix store and at this time we're ruling the cause accidental although we don't have a specific cause," Solon Fire Chief William Shaw said late Monday afternoon.

A person in the area alerted a Portrait Innovations employee, who was inside of the business, of the fire. She was able to escape without injury.
Numerous crews from near-by cities were called in to help battle the blaze. The fire was extinguished around 8:30 p.m.
The fire chief said the Vitamix Factory Store and Portrait Innovations sustained substantial fire damage. Both were boarded up Monday afternoon to keep scavengers out.
A spokesman for Portrait Innovations said customers with orders at the store can either opt for a reshoot, their digital files can be reprinted or they can get a refund.
